During the renovation of the Viennese Prater, the idea for a new attraction was born: a motion ride that takes visitors on a flight through this magnificent city and lets them experience several of the city’s unforgettable sights in a very unique way. A motion ride is an attraction in which visitors experience the platform moves, synchronized to the movements being viewed on the screen and gives the viewers the feeling of standing on a flying carpet. Swedish designers “Human Since 1982″ have created a hair clip with eyes on to make the wearer look like they’re standing the other way round and wearing a niq?b headdress.Hair Clip on Hair, the piece comprises a photograph of a woman’s eyes, attached to a metal clip.

Bird eye view of women of Kenya

French outdoor installation artist extraordinaire JR installed a 28 MILLIMETER: WOMEN Project in the “Kibera” slum of Kenya. JR photographed the women of Kibera and installed the photos as roofs to the subject’s dwellings. It does look impressive, and the material it’s printed on does help waterproof the roofs it’s installed on, apparenty, but I wonder if creating high tech art that’s best viewed from a helicopter is entirely sensitive its location in Africa’s biggest slum.
